Langkawi is a beautiful island situated at the northwestern Malaysia. Langkawi means reddish brown eagle in colloquial Malay. "lang" come from helang which is Eagle in Malay. Kawi means the colour reddish brown.
Langkawi is a tax free zone, therefore it attracts a lot of tourist both from local and overseas

Gunung Ledang also known as Mount Ophir is located in Gunung Ledang National Park. Standing at 1,276 m (4,186 ft), with a clear trail leading to the peak,is one of the most popular attraction for hikers and birdwatchers.
However it was the legend of Puteri Gunung Ledang that makes this mountain a popular place for Malaysia's tourism.
